Meet: Cal - she is a female lab/whippet/? mix. This spunky lady is all game when on the field, but cool as a cucumber when it is time to relax. Like any good infielder, she is quick (and I mean lightening fast) and looks like she has mitts on both hands. She also has beautiful blue eyes like her namesake. She seems to really enjoy being around the other players (I mean puppies) and will likely be named rookie of the year in her forever home!

All of our puppies are microchipped and up to date on shots.  Our puppies are not spayed/neutered as we do not believe in doing those procedures to puppies this young.  Our contract requires any adopter to spayed/neutered the puppy by nine months of age at his/her own expense.

The minimum donation required to adopt Cal is $400.

Cal and her littermates will be available for adoption this Friday, September 12th.  If you are not able to take a puppy to your home this coming weekend, please do not apply to adopt.  We do not hold dogs as we are not a boarding kennel and our goal is to adopt puppies to the best, first available home.  If you are interested in meeting Cal, you must have an approved application with Homeward Bound Animal Rescue.  We recommend that you complete the application directly on our website, and not through another site (as we don't get notifications of your application if you don't apply directly with us).  We receive many applications and do our best to process them as quickly as possible.  If your application is approved, we will be in touch (so please fill out all contact information).
