Contact Newt's Caretaker/Foster Directly: Suzanne (suehollenbach@comcast.net) Lab/Husky and maybe a few other breeds
Newt has been in her foster home for several months. When Newt first arrived, she was extremely pregnant (14 puppies) and scared of people. She has overcome that fear and has become a happy dog that loves playing with her foster four legged siblings and sleeping in bed with her foster daddy. Newt is still initially shy around strangers, so her future adopter needs to understand that she will not immediately bounce up to them and lick them all over their face. However, if you can have the vision to see beyond her initial shyness, you will have a wonderful dog. Newt is TOTALLY housetrained, and she will go into her crate upon command especially if she knows I'm going to put her food bowl in with her. The girl does love her kibble. Newt would really be happy in a home with other dogs as she loves to play with them. She is fine around children and visitors. She just likes to find a nice spot to curl up and watch all the activity taking place around her. If you think you might be the right person for Newt, please complete our online adoption app at http://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org. Newt was named after the little girl in Aliens who was always hiding and scared.
