Meet Little Leo.  Leo is a peke boy picked up on the streets of Philly and taken to a kill shelter. 
His sweet face spoke to us and he was saved in his last hour.

Leo came to us with severe pneumonia and was in the hospital for over a week until he was well again.

He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines.

Leo lives with several other dogs of various breeds and he does great with all of them.  He is very smart and learns his daily routine quickly.

We are not certain Leo's previous life was like but we are pretty sure it was unpleasant. He cowers when one tries to show him affection and it takes him time to warm up to males in particular.

Once he does warm up he wants only to be by your side. 

He is a special boy that needs an owner that understands not only the Pekingese breed but is also willing to take it slowly with Leo.
