Meet Ewok!  Ewok is one of Skyler's puppies.   Skyler resembles the cross of a Golden Retriever with a Duck Tolling Retriever - essentially a mini golden retriever.   We believe that daddy was a lab/shepherd mix based on the appearance of some of the puppies.  Skyler was a stray who gave birth underneath someone's porch on approximately 6/1/16.  She was turned over to our partner group Tri State K-9 Lifeline rescue in Ashland Kentucky.  We agreed to take mom and her 11 puppies into our program.   We paid for all of their out of state vetting, transport costs, and have taken care of them since they arrived here in Pennsylvania.  These puppies have received multiple wormings, received first Distemper/Parvo combo shot, microchipped and received a health check on 7/20 by our vet to be cleared for adoption.  Their fecal exam was negative for parasites on 7/14/16.  If you are interested in adopting one of these sweet puppies, please apply at http://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org.  Carla Hughes will be processing your adoption application, but once you are approved, your information will be handed off to the foster mom, Sue Hollenbach.  These puppies are in Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.  We do adopt out of state, but you must appear in person to adopt the puppy.  Please MapQuest this city to make sure you want to travel that far prior to completing an adoption application.  WE DO NOT SHIP PUPPIES.
