ADOPTED!!!!!  Haring is one of Sadie's puppies.  Haring is the big boy in the group, and he looks just like his mommy.  He is a very playful and loving puppy.  If you would like to meet him, please fill out our online adoption application at http://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org and then email the foster mom at suehollenbach@comcast.net to tell her of your interest.

I was contacted about Sadie by PawsSquad Rescue in Kentucky.   They notified me that she was pregnant and due soon and asked if we could assist.  We immediately said yes and made arrangements for her to travel to Pennsylvania.  Sadie had other plans and went into labor on 6/1/14 and presented us with these seven precious pups.  Sadie and family arrived in Pennsylvania on 6/14/14.  Sadie appears to be a Hound/Boxer/Lab mix. Mom is very handsy like boxers tend to be.  Daddy may well have been a boxer mix too since four of the seven pups resemble a boxer.  The pups have been well socialized.  The puppies have been eating Iams Puppy food since they were weaned.   The puppies have been wormed every week since they arrived in our care except for the week of their shots.  When I worm puppies, I do it three days in a row with Pyrantel Pamoate, or when they are old enough, we give them a Virbantel table which is an all-purpose wormer.  We believe puppies should be consistently wormed until they are 12 weeks old and placed on a heartworm preventative that also contains anti-parasitic meds.
