Meet Indigo! Indigo was the mommy to the "M" litter. She was the extremely pregnant dog who on the day she arrived was transported to our vets at Timberview for an emergency cesarian section. Her puppies have all found their homes, and now it is time for Indigo to find her home too. Indigo is a Plott Hound. If you're not familiar with the breed, it is a very common breed in the South, and they are often used as hunting dogs. The ones who end up in rescue are the ones wh o "flunked out" of their hunting training. They are a very sweet and sensitive breed Indigo is already spayed which took place during her c-section surgery. She is HW Negative, UTD on shots, and microchipped. She is in a foster home in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.
