Murphy Meet Mr. Murphy...........his original name was "Lucky" because he was found as a stray in South Carolina and Homeward Bound luckily rescued him from a high kill shelter. But his new family feels that THEY are the Lucky ones!!!! Since in his new forever home, he has enjoyed walking every single day, rain or shine....and things are about to get better........he's getting a brand new fenced in yard very soon so he can run and play to his heart's content. Another great feature with the fenced in yard is that he already has a long list of playmates lined up anxiously awaiting play dates to be scheduled!!! Yes, Mr. Murphy has become quite the social butterfly of the neighborhood and has made so many new friends, both human and canine on his daily walks. He also LOVES playing with soft and fuzzy animal toys. He treats his large menagerie like they are his real and true "friends". It is so funny when he plays with them, because he makes sure they ALL get equal time. He will have you play endless games of fetch with them and brings them back to you one by one. His new family cannot say enough good things about Homeward Bound Rescue. All of their tireless efforts, hard work, love and passion is appreciated more than words can express. If it were not for the people involved in Homeward Bound Rescue, good and deserving pets like Murphy would never have had the chance to be Lucky! .
Cody Here is Cody enjoying the holidays! Cody came into foster care a scared guy with alot of separation anxiety. He is so very lucky to have found a loving, patient, forever family who is willing to help him through these issues. He is now doing so well and they are very proud of him and his strides in the right direction. Way to go Cody!
Rocky This is Rocky. He was found as a stray sitting along a back road. His fosters found him to have lyme disease and a floating kneecap. He underwent surgery and weeks of physical therapy. When he was all cleared he went to his forever home. He sure looks like he is relaxing and just enjoying the chance to have a loving family! In no time he will be able to run and play with the children, just like golden retrievers love to do!
Jackson This is Jackson. Jackson was brought into foster care with his brother Noel. His new dad renamed him Jackson. Take a look at this proud boy! Here he is sitting watching over the world just enjoying life to it's fullest. He is a lucky guy who gets to go to work with his dad and ride around in his truck. What dog could ask for anymore!
Sloan This is a picture of Sloan. Sloan was a very quiet, shy girl who has a rough start. She was very fortunate to have found wonderful, loving forever parents who give her a ton of love and take great care of her. Sloan has grown into a beautiful gal! Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
