Haley is wondering why all her siblings found a home and she is still waiting!   Haley is sleeping through the night and has not had an accident in the house in weeks.  These puppies were abandoned alongside a road in Kentucky without a mother in sight.  Our partner group, Dumas Rescue, took them in, wormed them, gave them their first Distemper Combo shot, tested negative for Parvo, and then made arrangements to transport them to us here in Pennsylvania.  We have continued with our worming protocols, taken them to our vet for a health check and microchipping.  They all checked out fine and cleared for adoption.  Haley has had her second rounds of shots as of June 28th.  When we don't have a mother, it is really hard to decide the breed mix.  We and our vet feel that there is the possibility that Sheltie/Beagle/Chihuahua could be involved in these puppies heritage,  but we really don't know.  What we do know is that they're going to be on the small side at adulthood, and they are very loving.  If you are interested in adopting, please apply at http://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org, and their foster mom will be in touch with you.
