From Bella's foster mom.  This gorgeous girl turned out to not bepregnant, but sadly she was heartworm positive.  We made sure that she was treated for the heartworm, and she has com pleted her three courses of Immiticide, which kills  those nasty parasites.  She was not showing any symptoms, so were quite surprised when she tested positive for HW.   She is now recovered and spayed and looking for her forever home.  We will be sending Bella home with six month's of HeartGuard to start her new owners off on the right foot.  We don't want her to go to another family who doesn't understand the importance of HW preventative.
