Meet Gigi!  Gigi is one of Merry's puppies. Gigi is a precious pup.  A very playful and intelligent puppy.  She can be very insistent in wanting things her way, so she will require an owner who knows how to be firm and consistent in training.  She is also going to be active girl much like her brother Grover, so she is going to need an active family.  If you want a couch potatoe, this girl isn't for you.   Gigi might be a bit challenging for a first time dog owner, so I will not be considering first time dog owners for her.   Merry is a German Shepherd/Shar Pei mix.  We think daddy is a Lab/Collie mix based on the appearance of Gigi and Grover.  These puppies arrived from Kentucky at approximately 3 weeks of age.  We have wormed them every week since they arrived except the week of their shots.  We also proactively treat for Coccidia because we just assume they have been exposed to it in vitro.  The puppies received their first Distemper Combo shot at 6 weeks of age.  They were seen by Timberview Veterinary Clinic to receive a health exam clearing them for adoption.  At that exam they are microchipped and their first flea/tick/HW prevenative is dispensed.  Our organization pay for the registration fee of your microchip.  If you are interested in these puppies, you must have an approved adoption application before you can schedule a meet and greet at the foster home in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.  You can complete that form at http://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org.  Please do not apply for them, if you aren't quite ready to take a puppy home.  We will begin releasing these puppies on 1/27/17.  And we cannot ship puppies.  All adopters must appear in person to adopt.
