Meet Wally!  Wally is one of Cricket's puppies.  Wally can be shy, and he loves to be held.  I always find him cuddled up to his stuffed animals or buried under the blankets.  Cricket is a poodle mix.  We think mom was either abused or had limited interactions with humans.  She is very scared of people.  Mom will need more intensive rehabilitation before we can place her up for adoption.  Her babies though have been handled extensively, and they are going to make a wonderful addition to someone's family.  Mom appears to be some sort of poodle mix, and o ur vet feels that daddy was an Australian Shepherd mix based on the color patterns and length of hair on some of the puppies.     Like all our puppies, they have been thru multiple wormings.  Their fecal test during their health exam was negative for parasites.  They have received their first set of Distemper Combo shots.   They have been microchipped - our organization pays for the microchip registration fee.  And they have received a clean bill of health from Dr. Mummert at Timberview Veterinary Hospital, Dillsburg.  If you would like to meet the puppies, you will need an approved adoption application.  You can apply at http://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org.   Carla Hughes will be processing your application, and Tiffany their foster mom will schedule a visit with you.  The puppies are located in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.  We do adopt out of state, but you must appear in person to complete the adoption.
