Jack is a sweet little guy who has clearly had a really hard start to life.  He was found as a stray and surrendered to our partner rescue in Kentucky.  Jack is a little snuggle bug and loves to be held and cuddled.  He is calm for a puppy, but still playful.  His best attribute is his dark eyes that are the gateway to an old soul.  Jack could best be described as a true "mutt" as he doesn't really look like any distinguishable breed.  All Homeward Bound Animal Rescue puppies have been vet checked multiple times, are up to date on shots, and microchipped.  The rescue does not believe in pediatric spay/neuter, so our puppies are not altered.  Our contract requires puppies to be altered at the new owner's expense by nine months of age.  In order to be considered to meet our puppies, you must have a preapproved application with Homeward Bound Animal Rescue.  If you aren't in a position to bring a puppy into your home immediately, please do not apply for a specific puppy but rather for preapproval.  If your application is approved, the foster for the puppy will be in contact with you to set up a meet and greet.
