Meet: Kahuna. He is a male husky/pit mix (mom is a husky mix and dad is a pit mix). Kahuna and his siblings have the sweetest disposition - happy, joyful, affectionate. Kahuna is definitely the leader in the pack - confident and wanting to be noticed. Kahuna's blue eyes are the reason for his name - they are JUST the color of the ocean. He has a longer coat and a fluffy undercoat, more like his husky mother.

All HBAR puppies are up to date on shots and microchipped.  All puppies have also been vet checked at least two times.  HBAR puppies are NOT spayed/neutered as it is not healthy for the puppy.  However, the adoption contract requires puppies to be altered by nine months of age at the owner's expense.

If you would like to be considered to meet Kahuna, you must have an approved application with Homeward Bound Animal Rescue. If you already have a preapproved application, please reach out to me directly. Because of Kahuna being a pit mix, he will not be placed in a home that is being rented.
