Meet Nan!  Nan is one of Natalie's puppies.   She is the gorgeous thick coated girl in the group.  No one else in the litter has a coat like hers.  While she is very friendly and loves to play, she is also more reserved and likes her alone time.  Nan is super laid back and will do well in a family with older kids.  She will not want to be handled every minute of every day!  HShe will be happy to have a furry playmate that is also on the laid back side. The "N" litter have an amazing story of survival and beating the odds.  N atalie avery pregnant momma was rescued fro m a flooded shelter just north of Houston just after hurricane Harvey hit.  She was brought to a dry holding area organized by animal rescue workers offering temporary housing for animals affected by the hurricane.  The day her transport was scheduled to arrive she went into labor and had 10 puppies.  Later that day she began her journey from Texas to PA with her 10 puppies.  All the puppies survived that grueling 24 hour drive.  All of the puppies and momma settled right in and have been thriving ever since.  This litter is a combination of Pitbull/Australian Cattle Dog/ mixed breed-non specific.  These 10 cute puppies are happy, well adjusted, and truly unique. We have dewormed the puppies every week since they turned two weeks old except for the week of their vaccinations.   They have received a clean fecal reading and a clean bill of health from our veterinarian, Valley Road Vets.  They were microchipped, and our organization pays the registration fee for the adopter. They were treated with Revolution for their first HW preventative/flea/tick control.  If you want to meet these puppies or their mom Natalie, you must have an approved adoption application on file.  You can apply online at http://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org.  Carla Hughes or Teena Nigro will review your applications, and they will hand off the approved applicants to the foster mom, who is also named Natalie.  These puppies are located in a foster home in Duncannon, PA.  We do out-of-state adoptions, but you must be willing to travel to the foster parent's home.  We do not ship puppies.
