Meet Ace!  Ace is our blue merle boy and the reason we think that Australian Shepherd is part of their heritage.   He is a playful boy who loves his cuddle time.  Ace is one of Sarah's puppies.  These puppies are such a mix of breeds.  We ran a DNA test on them.  They came back with a huge mix of breeds: Great Pyr, Labrador, Shepherd, Chow Chow, Husky, but there biggest percentage came back as a mixed group which includes herding breeds.  I think this group is responsible for the blue merle coloring on Ace and perhaps the blue eyes of Amber.  Sarah came to us with her four puppies when they were just a couple weeks old.  They have been absolutely lovely puppies.  Their mother looks like a lab shepherd mix, but the most important thing about their mom is her heart and personality.  She is just a phenomenal dog.   We have dewormed the puppies every week since they turned two weeks old except for the week of their vaccinations.   They have received a clean fecal reading and a clean bill of health from our veterinarian, Timberview Vets.  They were microchipped, and our organization pays the registration fee for the adopter. They were treated with Revolution for their first HW preventative/flea/tick control.  If you want to meet these puppies or their mom Sarah, you must have an approved adoption application on file.  You can apply online at http://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org.  Carla Hughes or Teena Nigro will review your applications, and they will hand off the approved applicants to the foster mom.  These puppies are located in a foster home in Dillsburg, PA.  We do out-of-state adoptions, but you must be willing to travel to the foster parent's home.  We do not ship puppies.
