Meet Coda!  Coda is one of Lola's puppies.  Coda is everyone's favorite.  He is very sweet and loves everything and everyone.  He is just a very happy puppy.  Coda loves being held and playing with balls.  He is a very laid back puppy.  We ran Wisdom Panel DNA test kit on them, and although we can clearly see the Australian Cattle dog, we were surprised that we didn't see more hound in them based on their mom's appearance.  They are 25% Austalian Cattle Dog, but their largest percentage of breed groups is 50% mixed breed group which contains Herding, Sporting and Guard.  We see English Setter in the pups, and we think that is coming from the sporting group.  They are 12.5% Dachshund and Boxer, and we don't see any of those features in the pups.  The pups predominantly resemble Australian Cattle dogs.     Lola came to us pregnant from Lawrence County Kentucky.  She had been left tied to the shelter's outdoor kennel and was found by workers when they arrived for work in the morning. She gave birth in our rescue on 9/29/17 and we will not release the puppies to adopters until 11/24/17.  These puppies have been an absolute joy to foster.  They are so sweet and happy. Their mother looks like a small pointer/hound mix.  She is just a sweet dog.    We have dewormed the puppies every week since they turned two weeks old except for the week of their vaccinations.   They have received a clean fecal reading and a clean bill of health from our veterinarian, Timberview Vets.  They were microchipped, and our organization pays the registration fee for the adopter. They were treated with Revolution for their first HW preventative/flea/tick control.  If you want to meet these puppies or their mom Lola, you must have an approved adoption application on file.  You can apply online at http://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org.  Carla Hughes or Teena Nigro will review your applications, and they will hand off the approved applicants to the foster mom.  These puppies are located in a foster home in New Cumberland, PA.  We do out-of-state adoptions, but you must be willing to travel to the foster parent's home.  We do not ship puppies.
