Meet: Hagrid. Hagrid came into rescue as an owner surrender. He and his siblings were living outside in less than ideal conditions with their mom. His mom was a shar pei mix and we believe his dad was a great pyrenees. Hagrid has the wide face and short coat of a shar pei. He is incredibly affectionate - I imagine him having a Barry White voice and slow jams playing in the background! All HBAR puppies are vet checked multiple times, microchipped, up to date on shots, dewormed multiple times, and have been treated with flea/tick/heartworm preventative.  HBAR puppies are NOT altered - the adoption contract requires an adopter to spay/neuter a puppy by nine months of age and to provide the rescue documentation.   If you would like to be considered to meet Hagrid, you must have an approved application with Homeward Bound Animal Rescue.
