Meet Eddie!  Eddie is part of a group of 12 puppies who were surrendered by their owner.  This handsome male hound pointer mix is affectionate and easy-going. He is initially shy in new situations, but he quickly warms up.  Eddie obviously enjoys his "comfy time" with his foster mom! He likes to spend most of his time on his back on a comfy couch with foster mommy, and he is only a crazy puppy about 20% of the time! That's amazing for a pup that's only approx 14 weeks old!   He has begun potty training, crate training, and we have begun leash training.  He needs a little more work in the leash area.  He will do best in a home with other dogs or with someone who is often home.  Because of his shyer nature we are only considering homes with children above the age of 7.  We believe that there are several litters of puppies in this group of 12.  He has been dewormed and received his first two sets of DAPP shots and his rabies.  His fecal reading was negative for parasites.    He received a clean bill of health from our veterinarian at Cove Mountain Animal Hospital.  During his exam he was microchipped, and our organization pays the registration fee for the adopter. $30 of your adoption fee will be considered a spay/neuter deposit and will be returned to you when you provide proof that you pet has been fixed.
