Raku is a 14 month old pure bred husky. His owners have had him since he was a baby. Unfortunately, Dad was in a serious automobile accident, broke several vertebrae and is now wearing a halo and unable to give Raku the love and attention he needs. The family has agonized over this decision, but feel that Raku deserves to be in a home with someone that can walk him and play with him like they did before the accident.

Fenced yard is preferred because Raku has so much energy and needs to be able to run and chase balls off leash, and as a Husky, he will run if not in an enclosed area. It's the nature of the breed.

Raku walks well on lead with someone that knows how to handle large dogs, he's been through basic obedience classes and is a very loving dog.
