Introducing Winona! She is one of the bigger girls in the litter. Winona loves to play and have her belly rubbed. She is usually in the center of the fun. She is sweet and outgoing and loves soft toys and pet beds! She is the only pup with a bit of white on her feet. Winona will make a great family pet. She is 2 months old. Her mom was a purebred lab and her dad was a purebred maltese. She is located in Duncannon, pa. She currently weighs 12 1/2 lbs and is expected to be around 60 lbs when grown. Winona  is one of 6 puppies who were surrendered to the Dumas Dog Rescue in Prestonburg Kentucky.   If you are already approved, please email his foster mom directly at stoesz@ptd.net   These puppies are all super playful and loving.  The owner who surrendered them said the mother was a black lab and that the father was a Maltese mix.  Not sure how that happened, but where there is a will there is a way.  If you are interested in meeting them, you must have an approved application on file at https://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org.     These puppies have received heir first Distemper/Parvo combo shots.  They have had multiple de-wormings.  They have been microchipped, and have received a clean  bill of  health  from our veterinarian, at Cove Mountain Animal Hospital.  They are on monthly Flea/Tick/HW preventative.  If you are interested in adopting one of these puppies, you can apply  online  at https://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org.  We do adopt out of state, but you must be willing to appear in person at their foster home, Duncannon, PA 17020.  Please mapquest this town to make sure you are willing to travel that far.
