Meet Shiva: This 2-year-old Karelian Bear Dog is a delightful companion. Shiva has a sweet, gentle, friendly personality with a playful, fun-loving sense of adventure. She is house-trained and walks beautifully on leash. Since Shiva loves to be outside and will even camp out under a bush on a rainy day, a fenced yard is ideal. She loves car rides and exploring the great outdoors. While Shiva gets along great with other dogs, Karelian Bear dogs are happiest being the only dog in the house due to their powerful bond with their person. She is great with kids. I have no idea how Shiva is with cats but as a general rule Karelians are not known to be fond of cats. Shiva will be spayed and up-to-date-on shots prior to her release for adoption 5/23.
