Abegail came to us from a high kill shelter down south. Her guardian angel found her during one of her many searches for animals in danger of being euthanized. This little girl seemed an unlikely candidate to be found in a shelter. She was a pure bred lab and had the saddest eyes she had seen. Abegail's guardian angel asked us if we could please fit her into our rescue, and we were happy to be able to find a foster home for Abegail. She is now safe and sound in her foster home and finally begining to relax after her long journey from the Carolinas. Abegail is a very sweet and super calm puppy who is already house trained, crate trained, spayed, UTD on vaccines and microchipped. We haven't heard her bark yet, but we're hoping when she relaxes more that she might feel okay to do that. She walks very nicely on a leash and never pulls; she is very light on her feet not like your typical clumsy lab. Abegail will never be a large lab, and I would imagine her maximum weight to be around 40-45lbs. Abegail would make the perfect pet for a first time dog owner or someone who would likes the lab presonality but prefers a smaller dog. She is definitely a more submissive dog who would get along with other dogs or any other creature for that matter. She is currently being fostered in Liverpool, PA.
