Bear was an owner surrender due to the owners moving and unable to take him. Bear is a little on the shy side and easily intimidated which makes me believe he may not have been treated very well in his past. Bear came here with his house mate Princess who he does stick by. We would prefer to adopt them together but will consider separating them if necessary. They seem to have been through so much together and have had each other through it all.
  When Bear arrived he was astounded about having gentle handling and attention. He is on the thin side and loved having some treats and a meal. I want Bear and Princess to live the rest of their lives with love and compassion.
