Bartley is a handsome block-head chocolate lab mix. He loves to play with his foster brother and especially enjoys playing with stuffed squeaky toys. He loves to run & jump and just have fun being a pup — in fact, he jumped right over his foster brother when they were playing outside!

This gentle and affectionate dog just wants to be loved and to love you. Bartley enjoys having his head & ears scratched and will lean against your leg so that you don’t stop. He has a beautiful, soft coat of chocolate and dark chocolate colored fur that just makes you want to rub his head!

Bartley only pulls a little on a leash and will do great with a little training. He doesn't jump on people and is not aggressive at all. Bartley's excellent with kids (even small ones) and would make a wonderful family addition and a loyal companion.

Update - - Bartley is now being walked using a Gentle Leader headcollar and he walks very well with it. He was heeling nicely by the middle of his second walk.
