Willow is just a beautiful girl and had I not seen her siblings I would have thought she was a flat coated retriever.  She has the sadest eyes.  When you stare into her big brown eyes you feel like your looking at her soul.  She and her litter were surrendered to us by a woman who allowed her golden retriever to run free unspayed.  She produced a litter of five puppies which she allowed to stay on her property until recently.  When they were turned over to us they were already a year old and a little shy of people, but so wanting to be loved and petted.  All five of these dogs are incredibly sweet, loving, gentle, submissive, and seek to be loved.  They all have an incredibly silky coat that is just lovely to run your hand thru.   Willow, Miley and Loretta are all staying together with their foster mom.  They are working on their housetraining and making great progress as they are all quite brite and eager to please.

The only negative I could come up with is that they like to weave in and out of your legs when you're trying to walk them.  They really want me to stop walking and lean down and rub their ears.  We are working on their leash training as you can easily be tripped when they do this.   However, the good news is that they don't pull on the leash when they walk.  We are carrying treats when we walk them on the leash to encourage them to stay by our side and keep moving forward.  This is all new to them, and I think they are doing magnificnent.
