Hello, My name is Miss Nellie I am a female Boxer medium size. I am a very friendly girl. I do well in a crate and I love to be with people. I will sit beside you forever if you rub my head and ears. I came from a shelter where my owner dumped me. I was under fed and in need of medical attention. The people at the shelter said he didn't take very good care of me and they were hoping to get me to a rescue so that I could have medical attention and be taken care of until my forever family was found. Well, I have been here 3 weeks and I am doing much better. I am gaining weight and my ribs do not show like they did when I came. I have had surgery to remove 2 cyst and I was identified as having heartworms. I have had my first treatment and have done well. I will be getting my next treatment in 3 weeks. The vet said I will be fine once the treatments are completed. My new family will have to make sure I receive my monthly heartworm pills but all dogs should have them.
If you're looking for a nice loving companion I am the girl for you. All I ask in return is to be fed regularly have necessary medical check ups and most important to be loved. I'll be waiting to hear from you if you can provide these things.
