Zeke and Zoe are beagle/hound mixes who were recently rescued in the nick of time from a high kill shelter in West Virginia. We brought them home and even after an eight-hour transport from West Virginia to eastern PA, they were full of pure joy as only a dog can be. Once they had some warm rice and kibble in the bellies, fresh water, and room to stretch, they sprang to life romping and playing in the yard. These are two very special pups. Because beagles are such social creatures, their ideal home would have another doggie companion or a person home most of the day. Below is a little note for you from Zoe:

Hi! I'm Zoe. I'm so happy to be in a safe place with my brother, I can hardly contain my excitement. I love to chase my brother around the yard and get big hugs and kisses from my foster parents. I love to leap and bound when I'm excited. I just can't hold in all of that joy that I feel. I would love to find my forever home and share all of my joy and love of life with you!
