Zach is an adorable Border Collie mix who was rescued from a Virginia shelter by a kind-hearted volunteer who could not bear to leave him behind with an X marked on his kennel door denoting his last day there.

It is difficult to imagine how such a wonderful dog could end up in such a place. But we are so glad we've had the chance to know him. Zach is a happy boy who takes joy in any care or attention shown to him.

Zach loves to play with his roomie Cody(also pictured here on the site). He also enjoys daily walks on the leash.
