Sadie is a beautiful ,outgoing and extremely lovable friendly girl.This baby has had a rough start of it .Sadie who is only 1 year old was a stray , who got hit by a car, back in May in Va. As a misfortune of the accident, Sadie had to have her front right leg amputated.As if that were not enough for any puppy, they also found out she was pregnant.Sadie was transported to us in June and adapted very well to all of lifes pitfalls.On July 4th Miss Sadie gave birth to a litter of 11 puppies.She was a real champ even though she was only a pup herself.As life would have it, Sadie developed mastitis when her pups were 3 1/2 weeks old and had to be seperated from her babies. Sadie is all recovered from all of her lifes tragedies ,and has had to say goodbye to all of her puppies.She has had to begin her life again as the puppy she is ,and should have been long before this.
Sadie's handicap far from hinders her in any capacity.She runs and frolics and is able to go up and down steps as well as any 4 legged dog.Sadie gets along with bigger dogs, but not so much with smaller ones.She is rough at play and does not realize the difference in size.I think Sadie would do better in a home without small dogs.Sadie loves to run and play outside, but also loves toys and dog chews.She is a people dog and loves to give kisses and get all the hugs she can.Sadie has never met a human she doesn't love and trust .Her permanent smile is a showing of who she is.She thrives on human attention and also enjoys car rides.Can you overlook Sadie's handicap and look into her big beautiful brown eyes and see what is inside? If you are in search of a dog to love, spoil and give a life to that she has yet to experience , then Sadie's your girl.With all that has been handed to Sadie in her short life , she has never lost her spirit...please help Sadie have a life , love and home to call her own!
