With the help of some very caring people, Yogi and his five siblings were saved in the nick of time from a high kill shelter in South Carolina. They are a beautiful mix of shepherd and golden retriever, with the best features of both breeds — very smart and incredibly loving. Besides always clamoring for hugs and kisses, in just two days, these pups were for the most part paper trained. With rare exception, they also potty outside when their doggie door is open. They have never soiled in their bed area and should be extremely easy to house train. They are all typical happy, playful, extremely affectionate pups waiting for their forever homes to share a lifetime of love.

Hi, my name is Yogi. I am the leader of the gang here. I love just about everything, but I especially love people. While I love to play with all my siblings, foster mommy tells me that because I like to be the leader, I would be happiest in a home where there isn’t either a dominant dog or a very submissive dog. That way, everyone would be happy and get along great. Foster mommy says that I am extremely playful and friendly, and also incredibly people-oriented.
