Benny is believed to be a full bred chihuahua that is tall for his breed. Benny is a real stand up kind of dog. He was left by his significant other to raise a litter of puppies all alone. They were found as strays and turned into a shelter in Georgia where him and his pups were slated to be euthanized. Benny is a little nervous and yipes when someone or something scares him. Im guessing that was due to protecting his pups in the wild. Benny is very thin and will be neutered once he is a little heavier and feels more comfortable with his surroundings. Benny would make a great lap dog, as he loves to be held, and to sleep in your arms or over your shoulder. Benny deserves a life of love and caring after all he's been through and has endured. He is recommended for homes without small children. He is still fearful of loud noises and sudden quick movements so a mature family would suit him best.
