Zhivago’s Story

Zhivago came to Homeward Bound on October 21, 2007. You will fall in love with this sweet old guy. He is 17 years old and has cataracts, hearing loss, arthritis, and dementia. He lived in a home for most of his life. About one year ago he became somewhat incontinent and a bit cranky. His family was not comfortable with him around their small children, so they cared for him in their basement and outside.

Zhivago is coming out of his shell. He is allowing people to pet him and he is enjoying his walks. We have him on a special diet and have found that he has very few potty accidents.
Please consider giving Zhivago a home of his own. We’re sure you will find him as endearing as we have.
