Ladybird is one of seven puppies born to Foxy our Fox hound.  I know I know I'm running out of originality when it comes to names.  Who names a fox hound Foxy, right?  After five years of doing rescue, I think I'm at a loss now when it comes to names.  Ladybird is the second largest girl in this litter.  These puppies arrived when their eyes were still closed, so we were able to worm them every week since they were two weeks old.  We have also kept them on vitamins.  They're very healthy puppies.  Ladybird is more outgoing then her two smaller sisters and is confident in herself.  Notices all those poses she was striking all onher own.  She loved being in front of the camera and gave us a ton of beautiful pictures.   I believe that Foxy is a pure bred American Fox Hound.  She is a sweet dog with a very gentle disposition.  I'm guessing on the breed make up of the father, but I guessed it because of some of the color patterns on the males (white collars) and some of the girls have a little thicker and longer hair.

The puppies went to Holly Pike vets on 7/29/11 and received a wonderful vet report and received their first set of shots.  They are ready to go home, so please fill out an online application if you would like to meet them.  (I hope you are enjoying all these southern names.  I had a blast picking them out.  I so rarely foster hounds that I always go for really southern names.)  All of the puppies will be microchipped prior to going to the adoptive homes.  We use the AVID system.
