Australian Shepherd mix

India or indy as we like to call her came to us with six little puppies three months ago.  Her puppies have all found homes and it is now time for her to find her forever home.  Indy was obviously someone's pet at one time as she came to me totally housetrained.  She is quite the attention seeker.  She loves nothing more then to lay her head in our lap as she gets her ears rubbed.  What is really nice about Indy is that when we are busy even though she wants our attention she is content to find a spot to curl up and just watch us as we go about our work.  Indy did test lightly positive for heartworm, and she has already gone thru her immitacide treatments to get rid of the worms.  Our vet feels that there was no damage done because we caught it early enough.  She goes back for her check up in one week and will then be able to be spayed and go home with her family.  If you would like to meet this wonderful girl, please fill out our online adoption app at www.homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org.
