Bashful was found sitting beside his deceased owner by relatives. It's one of those heart wrenching stories where the owner died and the dog refused to leave his owner's side until help arrived. The dog stayed in place for almost two weeks.
Bashful is a sweet boy! He loves people, but sometimes is not always so thrilled about other dogs that are larger than him. He really enjoys playing with the other dogs that are his size and smaller. We just think he is afraid of the bigger dogs.
He looks like a purebred cocker.

He has some calloused skin on his backside.
Bashful loves people and walks well on a leash. We have also found that he loves squeaky toys!! Won't you think about giving Bashful a second chance at life?
