Lab Shepherd mix

If you've noticed anything about Newt in her pictures, it is that she always has a smile on her face.  She is a very happy dog that loves to be around people and other dogs.  She loves when we can all be outside together playing.  Newt got her name from the movie Aliens.  She came to us hugely pregnant and looked like she had little aliens doing flip flops in her belly.   Her babies are getting close to finding their own homes and it is now time for Newt to begin her search for her family too.  Newt is primarily lab and shepherd.  She looks like she has white coming out in her coat, but she actually has light tan and white under coat so she has this gorgeous ticking throughout her whole coat.  Newt will be spayed in the next week and she is already UTD on all her shots.  She is also HW negative.  Newt is totally housetrained.  We will begin crate training early next week.  Newt has never really barked in our home, however she has a whine she uses when she wants our attention and she does like attention.  She also loves hot dogs and will do anything you ask of her for that hotdog.  If you would like to meet Newt, please complete the online adoption application at www.homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org and then contact her foster mom at suehollenbach@comcast.net.
