Whitney is from Rocky Mount, Virginia and traveled to Homeward Bound on 2/25/2012 with her eight puppies.  Her puppies are now begining to find their homes and now it is time to focus on finding Whitney her forever home.  She has the beautiful spots on her chest and paws like a springer spaniel, but she also has webbed feet like a lab.  She is a small girl with a real laid back approach to life.  If she can crawl up on your lap to sleep while you watch tv she will do it.   Otherwise she is content to lie at your feet as you go about your business.  She is a low maintenance dog who would be a good match for a family who is getting their first dog.  She is housetrained and crate trained.  She is UTD on all shots and will be spayed shortly.  If you would like to meet Whitney please complete the online adoption app at www.homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org and then contact her foster mom at suehollenbach@comcast.net.
