Cici we believe is a Springer Spaniel mix.  We think she might be mixed with pointer.  She is going to make someone a wonderful family companion as she always wants to be around people during waking hours, but if someone wanted to also have her as a hunting companion I think they would be very pleased.  She already points birds in my yard and the occasional toad that hops up onto our patio.  Thank goodness she showes no interest in the rabbits.  I believe that at one time she was trained with hand commands.  I was trying to teach her sit by voice and she was just totally ignoring me.  When I gave her the hand command to sit, her butt promptly hit the floor and she just stared at me.  I believe someone was working with her to be their hunting companion.  She is very sweet and her ears are just incredibly velvety.  She has never met anyone she doesn't like.  She is housetrained and crate trained.  If you would like to meet Cici, please complete the online adoption application at www.homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org.
