Ranger-Boy came to us with his 4 siblings, Echo, Romeo, Juliette and Sniper (also available for adoption), from a very sad situation.

This is what Ranger has to say:

Our human daddy loved us, but he was just recently deployed to Iraq. Our human mom was supposed to stay and care for us, but I guess she didn't love us enough, because she just up and left -- and left us behind all alone with no one.

Foster mom tells me that we were all destined for the local pound in NC -- which is pretty scary. I hear that is it an awful place and that we would have all been scheduled almost immediately for something called euthanasia.

Anyway, here's where our story gets better. In the nick of time, a very sweet, kind lady found out about us. From what I'm told, she couldn't bear the thought of us getting dumped in the shelter. So, she contacted Homeward Bound with the hope they could find us wonderful forever homes where we would be loved for the rest of our lives.

So, here we are, just waiting for you to open your heart and home to one of us for a lifetime of love. I know for sure, I never want to be left behind again.
