Bandit is one puppy from a litter of six.  Their mother’s name is Scruffy, and her brood of six came to me thru an organization called Franklin County Planned Pethood in Rocky Mount, Virginia.  Scruffy appears to be a Schnauzer/Boston Terrier mix.   She has the ears and coloring of a Boston Terrier, but the body fame, coat texture, and beard of a Schnauzer.  The puppies were born on September 19, 2012. They arrived in Mechanicsburg, PA on September 21, 2012 at two days of age.  We have tried to handle the pups as much as possible in an effort to make sure that they are well socialized.  I’m sure will want you to continue with the habit.    They have been exposed to children and other adult dogs.  The puppies have been eating Iams puppy food since they were weaned.  The puppies have been wormed every other week since they were two weeks old except for the week of their shots.  When I worm puppies, I do it three days in a row with Pyrantel Pamoate.  The puppies are also proactively treated with an anti-protozoa medication.  Most puppies or their mothers are exposed to Coccidia, a protozoa parasite, which can cause diarrhea if left untreated, and we proactively treat for it to ensure that they are healthy puppies.   My vet and I had a lot of difficulty determining the breed mix on these puppies as none of them really look like a schnauzer, but their mother is obviously a schnauzer mix.  We believe daddy to be either another Boston Terrier or a French bulldog.  When you hold Petunuia's ears erect, she looks like a French Bulldog mix to me.   I am in no way representing these puppies as pure bred anything.  THEY ARE A MIX, and my vet and I have tried to identify the mix for you as closely as possible.  Bandit has the tan coloring that some frenchies have.  He is very outgoing and very sweet.  He also knows how to use his eyes to great effect to get more attention and cuddles.  If you are interested in adopting one of these puppies, please complete the online adoption application at www.homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org and then contact their foster mom, Sue Hollenbach, at suehollenbach@comcast.net
