Unexpected news. After Amy arrived we realized that she was pregnant. She unfortunately will not be available for adoption until after she has had the puppies and weaned them. I'm very sorry to have disappointed anyone. We were not expecting her to be pregnant. Her friend Abby who was supposed to be pregnant turned out not to be. So we had a lot of surprises with these two.

Amy and her friend Abby found themselves in a great deal of trouble when their owners dumped them on a rural country road in Ohio. They are obviously pals and have stuck together throughout their travels. Much to their horror, they ended up at a high-kill shelter in Ohio. I was contacted about Abby because Homeward Bound is known for taking in pregnant dogs. However, we couldn't just pull Abby and leave her friend Amy behind to die, so both girls are traveling to central PA on March 17th. Amy has been vetted already and is UTD on all her shots, HW Neg, and spayed. I'm told that Amy is super sweet and gets along with all the other dogs in her foster home out in Ohio.
