These puppies came to us from Virginia.  Their mother appeared to be a Labrador/Bassett Hound mix,and we believe daddy to either be a Rotti or Shepherd mix.  Lil Hoss and Basil appear to be more shepherd then Rotti.  Some of the puppies have a longer silky hair that is incredibly soft to the touch.   The pictures were taken on 6/25/13, so they are current photos.  If you are viewing them on Petfinder, I urge you to go to our official website, www.homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org.  We have at least ten photos of each puppy on their individual web pages.  We will be taking a video of them and posting that shortly.  The puppies have a range of personalities.  Some are little more reserved and some are really outgoing.  We are happy to try and guide you to the right personality for your family if you like.  The puppies are just turning 8 weeks old, so we are releasing them to approved adopters.  If you wish to become an approved adopter, please complete our online adoption application on our website listed above.  The puppies all have a health certificate from Gettysburg Pike Animal Hospital.  They have their first set of DAPP shots, have been wormed numerous times, and they are microchipped.  Homeward Bound pays the registration fee for the microchip, so there is no cost to the adopter for the chip.  If you want to meet the puppies please complete the online adoption app, and contact their foster mom at suehollenbach@comcast.net.
