With the help of lots of wonderful people, Jake (along with his siblings Jeffie, Jeannie, and Joy, also available for adoption on our website) were rescued from a shelter in South Carolina. All of these beautiful little pups are playful little fluff balls, just full of love and fun. The best we can tell, they are golden retriever/lab mixes. Consistent with the hallmark characteristics of both breeds, they are extremely affectionate, sweet puppies that crave human contact. They love to be held and snuggled and even were as calm and content as could be during bath time!! Any of these pups would be a wonderful addition to any home seeking a lifelong companion.

Hi!! I’m so happy to be out of the shelter and here at foster mom’s place. Foster mommy tells me that I am quite the handsome boy with my cream-colored markings on my blondish-white fluffy fur. I am also one big “love bug” — I just LOVE to have foster mommy hold me and give me kisses. I love to play too, but I also like to go off on my own sometimes and do my own thing. I guess I’m the “individual” of the bunch!! Foster mom also tells me that I am the most laid back pup of the gang here, whatever that means!! All I know is that I am having lots of fun right now, but I would love to find my forever family.
