Meet: Emma. Emma's mom is a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog mix and I believe her dad to be a pointer. Emma has a really unique look about her - one of her eyes is HALF blue. She has been checked by the vet and does not appear to have any hearing loss (as dogs with blue eyes have a tendency to be deaf). Emma has a flat coat which is mostly white with some black on her head. She has one black and one white ear. Emma also has a pink/black nose. This isn't common in Swissies, but is extremely common in Bernese Mountain Dogs. Her nose may stay like this, but I suspect that it will fill in and go all black. Emma LOVES to have her nose to the ground and explore the outdoors. Emma has a sweet, calm disposition. Emma is available for adoption on February 2nd. If you would like to be considered to meet her, you must have an approved application with Homeward Bound Animal Rescue.  The minimum donation required to adopt Emma is $450.
