Penny’s litter comes to us from the great state of Kentucky.  We saw Penny sitting in a kill shelter in KY very pregnant.  As many of you know, our organization’s sole focus is to rescue pregnant dogs or mommies who have just delivered in a shelter.   Penny is a black lab mixed with something that creates a wire coat.  She is about 45lbs.  Daddy had to be a springer spaniel.  When you look at the seven liver and white pups and five of them with the long hair like a springer, you will understand why we think that. These puppies are extremely social and have been handled by humans since their birth.  They are incredibly sweet, but they are going to be active due to their breed composition.    Penny missed her first couple of transports to me due to the foul weather this spring.  We paid for a private foster home in KY to take care of them and to vet them to our standards.   Which means, we worm the puppies every week  after they turn two weeks old.  The kids finally arrived in my home on March 8th.  Although they were old
enough to be adopted out at this point, we’ve held them an additional two weeks
to make sure they were not exposed to anything on the transport.  The kids have received two DAPP shots - at 6 weeks of age and at 10 weeks of age.  They have been microchipped by our vet.  We prepay the registration fee on the microchip, so you do not incur any
additional costs.  They have all received  a health certificate from my vet.    Their adoption fee is $350.  To be considered as an adopter for these beautiful puppies, you must complete an online adoption application at http://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.orgd2u.rescuegroups.org
