I was contacted about Ellie by AARF in Kentucky.   They notified me that she was pregnant and due soon and asked if we could assist.  We immediately said yes and made arrangements for her to travel to Pennsylvania.  Ellie had other plans and went into labor on 6/4/14 and presented us with these precious pups.  Ellie and family arrived in Pennsylvania on 6/14/14.  Ellie appears to be a Australian Shepherd/Chocolate Lab mix.   Daddy may well have been an Aussie too since the puppies appear to be all Aussie.  Some of the puppies have blue eyes. The pups have been well socialized.  The puppies have been eating Iams Puppy food since they were weaned.   The puppies have been wormed every week since they arrived in our care except for the week of their shots.  When I worm puppies, I do it three days in a row with Pyrantel Pamoate, or when they are old enough, we give them a Virbantel table which is an all-purpose wormer.  We believe puppies should be consistently wormed until they are 12 weeks old and placed on a heartworm preventative that also contains anti-parasitic meds.
