Mabel is one of our sweetest mommy dogs we've had in a while.  Totally goofy though.  She is a mutt, but if I were to pick her breeds, I think she is part lab part beagle and part boxer.  She was a wonderful momma dog.  She was obviously someone's pet because even after she gave birth I would say she was on the chunky side as she still looked pregnant.  She also arrived totally house trained and was totally familiar with the idea of living in someone's house. My guess is that when she got pregnant her owners dumped her as so many do.   Her puppies were delivered via C-section, so she is spayed.  She is HW negative, UTD on all shots including her rabies.  Mabel is crate trained and leash trained, but she does have a tendancy to pull on her leash.  Mabel is in a foster home with children and other dogs and she is doing fantastic.  Now that Mabel's puppies have all found their homes, we need to look for Mabel a home.  If you are interested in meeting Mabel, please complete our online adoption application at http://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org.
