Meet Gimlet!  She is one of Emmy’s gorgeous puppies.   She is absolutely stunning with those blue eyes, and those short stubby little legs.  She is going to have more of her mommy's figure which is that of a corgi.  Just a short little cobbi body.   Emmy is a Corgi/Aussie mix, and we think daddy may have been a beagle.  We can’t be sure about daddy, but we are positive about mommy.  Emmy has the most wonderful disposition in a dog.  She is always happy and always smiling at us.  My first glimpse of her was a picture of her at the shelter, very pregnant, and still smiling.  These puppies are going to be just as sweet as mommy.  They were born in our director’s home and they have been a favorite of all the puppy socializers.  They have been wormed every week since they were two weeks old except the week of their shots.  They received their fist Distemper Combo shot at 6 weeks of age, and visited our vet for a health exam and microchipping at 7 weeks of age.  They are now 8 weeks old and ready to find their forever home.  The puppies are in a foster home in Dillsburg Pennsylvania.  We do adopt out of state, but you must appear in person to complete the adoption so you should MapQuest Dillsburg to make sure you want to drive that far.  These puppies are pretty much near perfect, so whoever gets to adopt them should consider themselves lucky.  To be considered you must apply at http://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org.  No one gets to meet the puppies until they have an approved adoption application.
