Garrett Mitchell and his siblings recently arrived to HBAR.  They were found by one of our partner rescues in Kentucky at approximately 9 days old.  They were soaking wet, left in the rain to die by railroad tracks.  Our partner rescue lovingly nursed them to health, bottle feeding them multiple times a day.  

Garrett is one of 6 male puppies in the litter.  The puppies have been given their first puppy shot, microchipped, and have a health certificate from our veterinarian.  HBAR does not believe in altering puppies; therefore, our contract requires the adopter to neuter the puppy by nine months of age (at the owner's expense).  

If you would like to meet Garrett, you must have an approved application with Homeward Bound Animal Rescue.  We receive a high number of applications for our puppies, so please be patient as we process applications.  Our process generally moves very quickly, so if you are not in a position to bring home a puppy in the next few days please do not apply for a specific puppy (but rather for general pre-approval).
