Daisy is the momma to the "A" litter.  Daisy appears to be a pure bred Beagle, but we certainly can't prove that.  I believe she probably ended up in rescue because she wasn't a good hunting dog.  Someone has been very mean to her, and I suspect it was a man.  She feels safer with women, and she is very timid around men.  However, we have begun rehabbing her, and she has become my husbands project to rehabilitate.  She is learning that not all men are mean.  She is making great strides already, as she was sitting on my husbands lap watching TV with him.   Daisy does not have a mean bone in her body, and when she is scared, she shuts down and curls into a ball.  We will keep working with her to build up her faith in humans, but we will be looking for a family who will be gentle and understanding.  She needs someone who can shower her with love and understand that it may take months for her to blossom.  We do know that she will blossom - we see her blossoming already.  Daisy is spayed, UTD on shots, microchipped, HW/Lyme negative, and treated with Revolution for flea/tick.  If you are interested in meeting Daisy, you will need an approved adoption application.  You can complete one at http://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org.
